Carry forward the "Craftsman Spirit" and cultivate "Great Country Craftsman." On September 26, the 2021 "Hubei Craftsman Cup" Skills Competition-Provincial Hydrographic Surveyor Skills Competition, co-sponsored by the Provincial Department of Water Resources, the Provincial Department of Human Resources and Social Security, and the Provincial Federation of Trade Unions, was launched in Yichang Yuan'an. As one of the sponsors of the event, Yilineng Technology Co., LTD observed the competition throughout the process.

It is understood that this competition lasted 6 months from preparation to competition, from preliminary to finals. In the end, 48 players from 20 representative teams entered the finals. After intense competition, the selected outstanding players will represent Hubei Province to participate in the National Hydrological Survey Engineering Competition, showcasing the demeanor of Hubei Hydrology. The finals lasted for 4 days. The content of the competition was divided into three aspects: theoretical examination, indoor operation examination and field operation. Field operations were held at Yuan’an Hydrological Station, including 8 small projects, such as cableway speed and depth measurement, ship depth measurement and sand sampling and water quality sampling, acoustic Doppler (ADCP) flow measurement, buoy flow measurement, flow meter disassembly and assembly, rain gauge installation and commissioning, hydrological third-class leveling survey, GNSS-RTK survey.
